SpawGlass Builds...Partnerships
A Mentor-Protégé Success Story
We’re proud to congratulate COE Concepts on their graduation from our Mentor-Protégé partnership with The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas System. This program creates opportunities for prime contractors to support Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) owners by helping them strengthen their capabilities and expand their work with state agencies.
This partnership highlights the value of investing in small businesses and the long-term impact of mentorship. As Business Development Manager Cami Alling shared, “At SpawGlass, we don’t just build buildings, we build people. That mindset extends beyond the communities we serve to include every subcontractor and supplier with whom we partner. The Mentor-Protégé relationship between SpawGlass and COE Concepts is a true testament to both organizations’ commitment to building people.”
In addition to working closely together within the Mentor-Protégé relationship since 2019, our SpawGlass-Austin team is proud to have partnered with COE Concepts on more than two dozen projects in Austin and surrounding areas. A HUB and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE), COE Concepts specializes in turnkey traffic control services, commercial remodel and site concrete work. President Gina Esteves said of the experience, “As our six-year journey of the University of Texas System Mentor-Protégé Program concludes, I’d like to thank SpawGlass for collaborating with COE Concepts in making this a successful partnership. The lessons learned and relationships built have been instrumental in creating new opportunities for COE. I would especially like to thank Cami Alling for spearheading this endeavor. Her efforts have fostered a long-term business relationship with SpawGlass.”
COE Concepts’ graduation from the Mentor-Protégé program is an achievement worth celebrating, reflecting years of collaboration, learning and a shared mission to provide the absolute best construction experience. We’re honored to have been part of their journey and look forward to continuing to build together.
