Construction recently reached a significant milestone with the Juvenile Justice Center Expansion project’s topping out ceremony, marking the placement of the final structural steel beam. Traditionally, topping out celebrations recognize the completion of a building’s structural frame and the collective effort of everyone working to bring the project to life.

During the ceremony, Judge Steven Snell reflected on the facility’s purpose, saying, “With this building, we’re trying to change the path of youths’ lives and break the cycle so they can be headed in the right direction.” His remarks reinforced Williamson County Juvenile Services’ vision of creating opportunities for positive change through hope, empowerment, prevention and accountability.
