JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER EXPANSIONÂ

Breaking Ground in Williamson County
Owner: Williamson County
Architect: BLGY Architecture
Â
Construction momentum is building at the Williamson County Juvenile Justice Center expansion in Georgetown!
Â
Our team recently poured the second large concrete foundation for the building addition, covering about 24,000 square feet – roughly half the size of a football field! With that step complete, walls are now going up in the northeast section of the site. Inside those areas, crews are hard at work installing the systems that will bring power, water and air conditioning to the facility. Preparations are also underway for another major concrete pour planned for early October.
Â
Elsewhere on site, the roof of the existing building is being replaced, with installation of a new standing seam metal roof beginning later this month. Utility connections across the site are expected to wrap up next month, and construction of a smaller outbuilding will move forward with its foundation poured by the end of September. Work is also progressing on the new electrical system, with a vault installation scheduled to finish in early October ahead of a planned mid-October power switchover.
Â
We’re excited to continue building and look forward to sharing more progress soon!
