Construction continues to make steady progress on the UT Dallas Student Success Center + Student Union!

Site work is advancing around the building, including preparation of the surrounding areas and construction of the new fire lane. Exterior finishes are also moving forward as we continue installing building panels and completing the exterior façade.

Inside, work has shifted further into the finishing stages. In the basement, our team is installing permanent building features such as wall protection, mirrors and other specialty items while completing quality inspections.

On level 1, a major milestone was reached with the completion of the auditorium ceiling, allowing installation of ceiling tiles and other architectural features to continue throughout the space. Work is also progressing in the Honors College, rotunda and ballroom.

Flooring and interior finishes continue across the upper levels, with carpet, tile and polished concrete nearing completion in many areas. Ceiling installation is also advancing on levels 3 and 4 as the building continues to take shape.
