SpawGlass Builds…Thriving Employee Owners
October is Employee Ownership Month!
Founded in 1953, SpawGlass became 100 percent employee-owned in 1995 after being owned by founders Louis Spaw and Frank Glass and, later, Société Auxiliaire d’Enterprises (SAE). Being an employee-owned company is at the core of our culture at SpawGlass. One of the most unique aspects of SpawGlass is the opportunity for ALL team members to purchase SpawGlass shares and truly take ownership of the overall success of our company. SpawGlass is NOT what is commonly known as an ESOP (employee stock ownership plan); rather, a company built on employees who directly invest in and own the company.
During our annual stock offerings, we gain many new employee owners. Existing shareholders, too, purchase additional shares as an investment in SpawGlass and themselves. Who better to invest than the people who can influence the success of the company? Who better to reap the benefits of a successful company than those willing to invest their own money and efforts? The long-term investment in SpawGlass has changed the financial future of many individuals and families at SpawGlass.
At SpawGlass, ownership is a choice that empowers every team member to shape our future and benefit from our shared success. It’s a model that drives accountability and supports our mission to provide the absolute best construction experience. As we celebrate Employee Ownership Month, we honor the people who make that mission possible — our employee owners and future employee owners. Together, we’re achieving our vision of being market experts who build ecstatic clients, flourishing communities and thriving employee owners.
