UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas (Oct 14, 2026) — SpawGlass clients, trade partners, friends and employee owners will hit the links Friday, Oct 16, for the 13th Annual SpawGlass San Antonio Charity Golf Tournament at Olympia Hills Golf Course in Universal City.

Now in its 13th year, the tournament brings together members of the construction industry and community for a day of friendly competition, networking, and giving back. Proceeds from this year’s event will directly benefit the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s Vaquero 4-H Club, an urban-based 4-H program providing San Antonio-area youth opportunities to develop leadership, responsibility, and life skills through agriculture and western heritage programs.

“As a community contractor, we believe what we build goes well beyond buildings,” said Jason Smith, president of SpawGlass’ San Antonio Region. “This tournament allows our employee owners, clients and trade partners to come together and invest in young people right here in our community. The Vaquero 4-H Club is introducing San Antonio city kids to agriculture, leadership and experiences that can help shape their futures, and we’re proud to support that work.”

Hosted through the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s East Arena initiative, the Vaquero 4-H Club gives participants opportunities to learn about livestock, horsemanship, and agriculture while taking part in community service and other traditional 4-H activities. The program makes those experiences accessible to young people who may not otherwise have an opportunity to participate in agriculture-based programming. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, participants develop confidence, personal responsibility and leadership skills while building a stronger connection to the agricultural traditions that remain an important part of Texas’ heritage.

“The Vaquero 4-H Club is about giving young people the opportunity to learn by doing,” said Cody Davenport, Executive Director and CEO, San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. “Whether they’re working with livestock, learning horsemanship, participating in community service or discovering more about agriculture, they’re also developing confidence, responsibility and leadership skills they can carry with them throughout their lives. Support from SpawGlass and its partners helps us bring those experiences to more young people in our community.”

Participants can expect a day of golf, food and beverages, sponsor activities, networking, and friendly competition, all while supporting San Antonio-area youth.
