SpawGlass will present a $25,000 contribution to the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) Foundation to establish an endowed scholarship fund benefiting students from Comal, Guadalupe, and surrounding counties enrolled in construction-related programs at Texas State Technical College’s New Braunfels campus.

The gift reflects SpawGlass’ ongoing commitment to workforce development and investing in the next generation of skilled construction professionals. Since 2023, SpawGlass has contributed nearly $145,000 to the TSTC Foundation, excluding this donation.

Several SpawGlass leaders and team members are graduates of Texas State Technical College, including company Chairman Joel Stone, who demonstrates the company’s long-standing connection to the institution.

Technical colleges provide focused, hands-on training that prepares students for careers in high-demand fields such as construction, welding, electrical systems, advanced manufacturing, HVAC, health care, information technology, and industrial maintenance. Many students complete their programs in one to two years, enter the workforce more quickly, and graduate with significantly less debt than students attending traditional four-year institutions.

In the construction industry, technical education plays a vital role in developing the skilled workforce needed to build and maintain roads, schools, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and infrastructure that support Texas’ growing communities. Investments in workforce development create opportunities for students while helping address labor shortages that impact economic growth across the state.
